Stainless steel knitted wire mesh for demister pads is an essential form of woven wire mesh used in gas-liquid separators, commonly referred to as a demister. The mesh is used for other purposes, such as oil-gas separators, dust collectors, silencers, and mechanical damping.

The wire diameter ranges from 0.10 to 0.55mm with flat and round wires, with the most common being 0.20-0.25mm.
